How do you want to travel in 2040?

The 2040 Long-Range Transit Plan (LRTP) will serve as the blueprint for a sustainable, safe, innovative, integrated, and efficient public transit system over the next 20 years.  When completed, the plan will be used by the Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA) to develop new services and allocate regional resources.

We need to hear from you!

Mobility is central to the region’s economy, environment, and quality of life.  Having a diverse range of transportation options ensures that all community members are able to work, go to school, visit friends and family, and participate in other activities.  Currently, about 89% of trips in the region are by personal automobile.  As the region continues to grow and develop, alternatives to vehicle travel will become more and more important.

Watch the video below
to learn about the 2040 Long-Range Transit Plan, and then scroll down to begin the community questionnaire. This questionnaire will remain open through August 12.

We want your input as we consider the role of public transit in the future of our community. Let's get started!
