Requirements
- Fellows are required to attend the Reconstructing Judaism Convention, in-person, March 23-27,2022, in Tysons Corner, VA.*
- Fellows must commit to participate in a minimum of three follow-up Zoom meetings between April 2022-Sept 2022.
- Fellows will each be asked to write a short summary of their experience by October 2022, with a proposal for a meaningful ongoing project for their home community.
- Fellows will be asked to collaborate with Reconstructing Judaism’s communications department for interviews, newsletters articles, videos and/or podcasts.
Reconstructionist Community Applicants should be laypeople between the approximate ages of 22-35. In selecting fellows, we seek to bring together a multiracial, multicultural and multiethnic cohort that reflects the nature of the Jewish people.
Though this application is for folks who are new to the program, if you were a 2018 fellow and would like to reconnect, please reach out to Tresa separately at
TGrauer@ReconstructingJudaism.org.
Preference will be given to applications from individuals either currently or historically affiliated with Reconstructionist congregations and
havurot. If there is no affiliate in your area but you identify as Reconstructionist and are interested in the future of the movement, please apply!
*We are committed to creating community both within the fellowship cohort and with the other Convention participants writ large. If you are interested in applying for a Fellowship but unwilling or unable to gather in-person because of the pandemic, please reach out to Tresa Grauer at TGrauer@ReconstructingJudaism.org for a conversation about future options.
