Shakopee has a strong commitment to providing high quality parks, trails, leisure services, and open spaces for all residents and visitors to enjoy. The City maintains 920 acres of parks and open space including 60 miles of trails, 13 community parks, 19 neighborhood parks, and 2 tot lots. The City also operates a community center, sand aquatic park, and ice arena.
