Thank you for your interest in our Educational Exchange and Service Learning Program Trip to the Dominican Republic planned for March 12 - 20, 2016. The estimated costs associated with participation on the trip are presented below. These costs estimates do not include things such as personal entertainment, the purchase of souvenirs, etc. and may vary slightly.

Community Service Alliance (CSA) Program Fee: $1,200
Center for Global Health Trip Registration Fee: $50
Airfare booking (with travel agent at Fly for Good): $600 - $700
Round-trip ground transportation to/from Newark Airport: $140
Tourist Card to be purchased upon arrival in the DR: $ 10

The CSA Program Fee covers all programmatic meeting and site visit costs (including the final day of relaxation on the beaches of Isla Saona), all program related ground transportation, as well as all of our meals and accommodations while in the DR.

To sign up and book your spot on the trip, please complete the following steps:

1) Sign up via this online site (by providing the requested information on the next page) and submit a deposit of $250 to the Center for Global Health by January 15, 2016. This deposit includes a $200 payment towards the Community Service Alliance Program Fee of $1,200 and your $50 Center for Global Health Trip Registration Fee. Your deposit should be submitted by check made payable to "The University at Albany Foundation" with a reference of "CGH DR Exchange Trip 2016" in the memo field.

2) Submit a second payment of $1,000 to the Center for Global Health by check before January 31, 2016 to cover the remainder of Community Service Alliance Program Fee.

3) Participants must also book air travel with the Center for Global Health's Travel Agent at Fly For Good by January 31, 2016 (information on how to book your flight will be sent out in advance to those traveling).
