INFORMATION FOR THEMED, MULTIPLE-TOPIC SESSION PROPOSERS
The NIH SciEd 2021 Conference will be held May 24 - May 27 online. DEADLINE for proposal submission is SUNDAY, APRIL 18.
Short themed multiple-topic sessions will consist of three presentations by different presenters. Each presentation will last 20 minutes, for a total of 60 minutes per themed session. These sessions will take the place of the Roundtable sessions that have been held at in-person conferences.
Interactive sessions that provide opportunities for participant involvement are strongly encouraged. Presenters are asked to give the same thought to planning a productive 20-minute session as they would to a 60-minute breakout session. Please include time for questions and/or discussion within your 20 minutes.
You will be asked to provide the 20-minute presentation title, presenter contact information, topics addressed, and a 50-150 word abstract. Session proposals will be reviewed by the appropriate Strand Organizers, who will group proposals by theme.
These sessions will be scheduled on Monday, May 24 or Wednesday, May 26.
