This one-time $4,000 SEAC scholarship requires that you are a permanent citizen of the United States. Proof of citizenship may be requested if your application is selected. Similarly, to be eligible, you must be enrolled at the university level in an engineering-related field for the following fall semester. Proof of enrollment may be requested. Please complete the application information and requirements below. There is a place at the end of the application to attach the required files, which include:
1. an unofficial transcript from each college/university attended. Finalists may be asked to provide an official transcript prior to the award of funds.
2. a letter expressing your commitment to a career in engineering.
4. a short essay (300 words maximum) discussing your view of the role of the structural engineer in society.
