We want your input on a new and exciting way to inform older adult research!

The Sages’ Symposium will be a one or two day event held April of 2020 in the Chicago-based area. The Symposium will be a rare opportunity to bring researchers and older adults with care needs together to improve and expand opportunities for engaged research. We define engaged research as researchers and older adults working in partnership to design, implement, and interpret research findings.

More specifically, we intend to use this Symposium to...
  • Discuss and address obstacles that stand in the way of older adults being active participants in engaged research
  • Support researchers’ readiness to conduct engaged research with older adults who will benefit from their research
  • Identify new research opportunities for researcher and older adult partnership
  • Share tools and resources that make engaged research easier
Please answer the questions below to inform this very important Symposium.
