This survey has been created for young adults’ (16-30 years of age) to complete about their experiences of having kidney disease as a child (0-15 years of age) including its social and emotional impact on them and their families.
It is anonymous, and we cannot identify you from your responses. We will compile the information into a report to be shared with Members of Parliament and members of the House of Lords at our parliamentary event, "Championing Children’s Kidney Care in Parliament: Challenges and Opportunities," in November. The event will call for equity in children’s kidney care and greater recognition of families’ needs. It is vital that MPs and Lords hear from people with lived experience.
We will also share the survey results on our websites and in presentations. We may include quotes from comments submitted in the survey, but we will not identify you or anyone else when doing so. Please do not include any information that could identify you, your location, or an individual healthcare professional. Please do not complete the survey if you are not happy for people outside Kidney Care UK to read your anonymised comments.
The survey closes on Sunday 25 October 2026 and will take around 12 minutes to complete.
If you are completing the survey on behalf of someone else, the answers should be about them, their condition, and their experiences and NOT you.
