We will be representing the voices of our community, so please support us in knowing what your family needs and desires within your community spaces.
In recent weeks, our Service has visited St George park and Pole Depot, where our children shared their voices on what their little hearts would desire if they had the opportunity to make changes and improve our parks.
Risk assessments were conducted in both parks, where huge concerns have been identified.
We have now met with Nicky from Project Penshurst and Counsillor Christina Jamieson, who is supporting the movement to make change happen.
We think this is a wonderful way to connect with our local community and advocate for how sharing our voices makes a difference in life. Therefore, we aim to take this as far as we can to share our community's desire to have our local parks maintained and at the front of the queue for a well-earned renovation.
Follow the journey on Project Penshurst, Christina Jamiesons’ page, or on Little Achievers Kindergarten page. We will keep the community updated with upcoming Council meetings and each stage of the movement!
