CSAC FOUNDATION
Fiscal & Financial Management Training
Program Interest Survey

Thank you for taking a few minutes to help us design training that's actually useful. The CSAC Foundation is actively developing new fiscal and financial management programming for California county professionals. Your responses will directly shape which topics we prioritize, how courses are delivered, and who we design them for. This survey takes approximately 5 minutes to complete
1.Which fiscal management topics are most relevant to your organization’s needs right now? Select your top 3
2.Who would be the primary audience your organization would enroll in fiscal management training? (Select one)
3.What training format works best for your organization — not just your personal preference, but what leadership would actually approve and staff could realistically attend?
4.What is your biggest barrier to participating in training right now?
5.Would your organization be interested in countywide access to an on-demand fiscal management training library — meaning unlimited staff access to a curated set of courses available to CSAC member counties?
6.If yes or possibly to Q5: Approximately how many staff would you expect to access such a library?
7.If a relevant course were available today, how quickly could your organization realistically enroll someone?
8.What is the most pressing fiscal management challenge your organization is facing right now? Please be as specific as possible — your answer will directly influence which topics we prioritize.
9.Any other feedback on what CSAC Foundation fiscal training should look like — gaps you’ve seen, formats that haven’t worked, or ideas you wish someone would build?
10.Are you or someone in your organization interested in contributing to CSAC Foundation fiscal management programming as an instructor, guest speaker, or subject matter expert?
Thank you for your input. Results will inform the CSAC Foundation’s 2026–2027 program development priorities. Questions? Contact vsmith@counties.org
