The purpose of this survey is to gain an understanding into the main reasons you feel employers are hesitant to employ someone with disability or medical condition.
NDCO is creating an innovative tool to provide employers with information on disability and the wide contributions they bring to the workforce and will particularly address the reasons we believe employers are hesitant. The resource will be interactive and will list 5 disabilities and medical conditions. Completion will be this year and more will be added. Peak disability groups will then be engaged to provide expert advice and answer the questions we raise.
To ensure currency I would greatly appreciate your help.
NDCO has created a list of questions gathered from speaking with employers at Chamber of Commerce events. Please indicate which ones you feel are important and also feel free to make suggestions for additional questions. Space has been left for you to identify which disability or medical conditions you feel should be addressed first.
