The Shire of Waroona has recently endorsed the Preston Beach Management Plan and is now inviting the community to share their thoughts on how well the Plan sets a direction for the future of Preston Beach. The Plan brings together a range of important areas, including how visitors are managed, how the environment is protected, how tourism and accommodation are approached, how the townsite is planned, and how Preston Beach is managed over time. It provides a long-term framework to help guide decisions and actions in a way that respects the unique character of the area. This Plan has been shaped by extensive community consultation undertaken between 2021 and 2024. As a result, this survey is not about starting from scratch, but about checking in with the community to see whether the Plan reflects what matters most, addresses the key issues, and sets out the right actions and priorities moving forward. We are now seeking your valuable feedback to help shape the final version of the plan. Please review the document and provide your comments, suggestions, or questions by Friday 8th May 2026.
