Question Title

* 1. Hi and welcome to the Sexism and the City project!

We're a group of Jewish girls from high schools around the NYC-area who are concerned about sexism and want to know:
1) how sexism affects other girls and women and gender non-conforming people in our community; and
2) what we can do to confront and challenge it, both as individuals and collectively.

We hope you'll take our brief survey.

What We'll Do With the Surveys:
  • The stories and other information we collect will become part of a website we're building about sexism in NYC that will also offer resources for fighting it.
  • We won't ask for your name or image or other identifying information, but we may quote from your survey responses on the website. We may also use quotes and data from this survey in other formats, such as workshops to help people recognize and confront sexism or writing for publication online or in print.
  • You do not have to answer any question you don't want to, and you can change your mind about participating at any time during the survey.

By clicking through to the survey, below, you are stating that this project has been clearly explained to you and you agree that we can share your responses online, in workshops, and in print.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Beth Cooper Benjamin, Director of Research at Ma'yan, at beth@mayan.org.
