2017 BEF Grant applications will be accepted from Monday, October 2 through Thursday, October 26.
-All grant proposals must be approved by your principal/department director.
-Please input information for all questions.
-The maximum amount of an application is $1,500.
-There is a limit of two submissions per applicant. Applicants are not allowed to combine multiple submissions to total more
than $1,500 for a single project.
-Included in this year's BEF grants are four $2,500 City of Eugene Waste Prevention and Composting Education grants. These will include some additional reporting requirements. See the criteria and expectations on Question #15.
-When inputting amounts use whole numbers only, no decimals. DO NOT INPUT A $.
-Please make sure that all narrative responses (project description, why it is necessary, and project evaluation) are concise but still provide enough detail for the grant review committee to fully understand your intentions. If the grant review committee is unsure what your project is, why it is necessary, or how it will be evaluated, it will reduce the chances that your proposal will be funded. The reviewers are not teachers, so make sure to avoid using acronyms/phrasings that they will not understand.
-The application review process will be a "blind" process in which the reviewers will not know the identity of the applicant or the school they are from. DO NOT reference any individuals' names or your school/department in the descriptive parts of the application.
-When you are finished, click the "Done" button at the bottom of the survey. If you click "Done" and the confirmation page does not appear, there are errors in your application. Please review every question for an error note, make the corrections that are necessary and click "Done" again. You may need to scroll up to see the errors that must be addressed.
-By submitting a grant application you agree that, should you be awarded a grant, you will be willing to promote the Bethel Education Foundation within the community.
