Survey Monkey – Parents/Whānau

A wellbeing tool is being designed for use by all ākonga/students in Years 7-13+ across New Zealand schools. The Ministry of Education wants to support schools/kura to understand the experience of students in their learning environments and work with them and you, their school community, to improve the educational wellbeing of our ākonga.

Conversations have been held with over 11,000 students and ākonga to help us understand what wellbeing means to them in their school/kura. We are continuing our engagement with students and ākonga to co-design the measurement tool and understand how collected wellbeing data should be shared and used. We have also heard from over 1300 parents and whānau and over 1000 target stakeholder group members.

To continue to strengthen the voice of whānau, parents and caregivers, we invite you to share your feedback on the design of the tool in terms of recording and using the wellbeing data.
