Tell us about a Woman of Impact in fundraising that has positively affected you, others, and/or the fundraising community.

Your story (through video, photography, and/or text -- your choice) may be shared with the AFP community online and/or at the AFP IDEA Women's Impact Summit.

One nominator and nominee, deemed to be among the most inspiring by AFP Global staff, will each win one free registration to the AFP IDEA Women's Impact Summit in Phoenix, October 5-6, 2019. Any winner who has already registered for the event will receive a refund for their event registration.

The deadline for submissions is September 8, 2019.

Here are some tips for recording your video:
  • We want raw video of you telling your nominee's story—no professional editing necessary.
  • Please keep the video shorter than 1 minute.
  • Consider putting the phone/camera on a stable service or tripod rather than handholding. If you choose to shoot handheld, hold the phone/camera as steadily as possible.
  • Pick somewhere that is bright, yet has soft lighting. Near a window (but not in front of a window) is great. Try and avoid harsh, overhead lighting when possible.
  • Shoot in “landscape” orientation - holding the phone lengthwise, rather than “portrait.” Think about your monitor or TV at home and how it displays video.
  • Position yourself to the left or right side of the frame, rather than dead center. Shoot from either level with your face, or slightly elevated, not from a low angle.
  • If you have any issues, please contact Benjamin Schmidt at ben.schmidt@afpglobal.org.

Please enter the file name of your video here.
