Ideas for Knox worship services

Please help us create new worship experiences at Knox!

Knox is considering several ideas for in-person worship. Would you take a few minutes and let us know if any of these ideas appeal to you?

Question Title

* 1. How interested would you be in attending an OUTDOOR worship service? The service described will be for a maximum of 50 persons, seated in groups of 10 or less. Reservations will be required. Masks will be worn and social distancing will be observed. Communion will be celebrated by the bringing of one’s own bread and juice. Music will be offered. Fellowship and discussion time will be part of the small group seating. The service will last one hour.

* 2. How interested would you be in attending an INDOOR worship service in the Sanctuary or Knox Commons? The service described will be for a maximum of 25 persons, seated in groups of 10 or less. Reservations will be required. Masks will be worn and social distancing will be observed. Fellowship and discussion time will be part of the small group seating. The service will last 45 minutes. Windows will be open to increase circulation.

Question Title

* 3. How interested would you be in HOSTING A SMALL GROUP FOR WORSHIP outdoors at your home? 10 or less persons would attend. A sermon, and possibly discussion on the sermon, and music, would be taped for viewing by the Knox community. Masks will be worn (except while the sermon is recorded, at greater distance) and social distancing will be observed. Fellowship and discussion time will be part of the small group seating. The service will last about 45 minutes.

* 4. How interested would you be in JOINING an outdoor small group of Knox members for worship, Bible study, and fellowship? 10 or less persons would attend. Masks would be worn and social distancing observed. The group might watch worship together (or commit to doing so before) and discussion questions would be offered. The group might be organized around common interests or circumstances (parents, health care workers, teachers, etc.). The gathering would last about an hour.
