This survey is part of a research project to understand perceptions about dignity at work. Dignity is a sense of self-worth or personal value.
Your anonymity will be protected when you complete this survey. We will not ask for your name or your current or past employer.
This study aims to enhance understanding about the leader/manager/supervisor behaviors that direct reports perceive as dignity-affirming and how direct reports' responses to those behaviors can enhance organizational performance.
This study also seeks to enhance understanding about the leader/manager/supervisor behaviors that direct reports perceive as denying, acting against, violating, or failing to respect their self-worth or personal value and how direct reports' responses to those behaviors can erode organizational performance.
Upon your consent to participate, completing the survey will require approximately 10 minutes.
No known risks are associated with your participation in this research beyond those of everyday life. The survey engine will strictly maintain the confidentiality of your responses. Your IP address will not be captured. No personal identifying information will be requested or used in this survey. Any findings reports will reflect aggregated responses, including responses related to demographic data. Some respondent comments may be excerpted in reports to illustrate themes across the data, but these comments will not be attributed to any responder. Should we excerpt any comment you make in completing the survey, we will remove any words or phrases that might suggest your identity.
Participation in this survey is voluntary. Upon consent, you have the right to exit the survey at any time and, therefore, are not required to answer any questions you prefer not to answer.
