You are invited to take part in a research study being conducted by, Rosan van Halsema, Edward Millar, Sven Teurlincx and Lisette de Senerpont Domis, from the Netherlands Institute for Ecology, the University of Winsor and the University of Twente. The purpose of this study is to investigate which elements play a role in the participation rates of environmental citizen science projects. This study will take the form of an online survey, and is open to anyone who is involved in the coordination of an environmental citizen science project.
If you choose to participate in this research, you will be asked to answer 20 questions besides your name and email address in an online survey. All questions with an * are mandatory to fill in in order to complete the survey. Choosing the option 'other' requires you to specify the answer in order to submit the survey. The survey should take approximately 5-10 minutes.
By filling out the form and clicking “Submit,” you consent to participation in this study.
To withdraw consent, simply close the browser window, or do not click “Submit.” Your participation in this research is entirely your choice. You are welcome to stop the survey at any time if you no longer want to participate. All you need to do is close your browser. Incomplete surveys will not be included in our analyses. Only the research team will have access to the survey responses. Your name and email address will not be included in any published results.
