Review of St Patrick's Catholic School Homework Policy

We are aware of the commitments for family for work, sport and other activities during week days. To assist with this review, parents/guardians are invited to complete a 5-minute survey on our homework guidelines. 
The current homework policy expectations include the following:
Years Prep to 2: No more than 20 minutes per night.
Students are encouraged to learn words and basic number concepts and to
pursue reading and spelling programs.
Years 3 & 4: up to 30 minutes, including reading, four nights a week. 
Years 5 & 6: up to 40 minutes, including reading, four nights a week.
St Brendan Shaw College Year 7: 30 minutes, four nights per week.
