2026 BC Farmers' Market Awards - Volunteer of the Year Nomination
BC Farmers' Markets
will recognize an outstanding individual for their work and accomplishments related to their volunteer work with a BC Farmers' Markets member market. The recipients will be honoured online via ZOOM after the BCAFM AGM on March 9, 2027.
Who is Eligible?
Individuals who volunteered with your farmers' market in 2025. Nominees are not eligible to win the same award two years in a row.

Criteria for Selection:
Volunteer is reliable, hard working, dedicated, and invested in strengthening BC farmers’ markets
Individual has volunteered a minimum of 20 hours with their farmers’ market during 2025
Selection Process:
Nominees will be evaluated by a panel of BC farmers' markets collaborators.
Who May Nominate
:
Nominations will only be accepted by the BC Farmers' Market member market organization at which the individual volunteers.
Deadline to Nominate:
Sunday, December 13th, 2026 at 11:59pm.
