HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF SOUTH TACOMA WAY

South Tacoma Way (STW) is a place to shop, work, gather and travel, but many people have told us it feels fast and unsafe. Through Connecting South Tacoma Way, a Vision Zero Initiative, the City of Tacoma is designing the street with community to make it safer and more welcoming.

The survey takes 18-30 minutes and includes 19 questions, several with complex information. We recognize this is a big ask, but believe it is worth the effort for you to directly influence South Tacoma Way and its communities’ future. We appreciate your time and expertise! HOW YOUR INPUT WILL BE USED

We'll ask what matters most to you along South Tacoma Way. That includes comfort, bike routes, business access, and South Tacoma Way's identity. The City and technical team will consider your input alongside their own evaluation of safety, traffic operations, emergency access, constructability, and other engineering factors. ​
STUDY AREA

This survey focuses on South Tacoma Way from S Pine St to S 60th St and is broken down into three segments based on land use and street characteristics: North Industrial, Business District, and South Industrial (see map below).
