Employer Survey Regarding High School Student Intern Hours
The Off Campus Program Guidelines are being changed. It is important for you to provide input about the range of work situations your company offers high school off campus program students. This survey asks about the types of student positions, hours of work, work schedules, and your industry sector. The survey focuses on students in the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP), pre-RAP opportunities, dual credit programs, and health internships connected with CAREERS: The Next Generation. This survey is anonymous.
The survey is being conducted by CAREERS: The Next Generation Foundation whose mission is to enable youth on their path to rewarding careers. We do this by working with employers to open opportunities for high school students to earn while they learn as a part of building a talent pool of future skilled workers. In 2014-2015 CAREERS: The Next Generation in partnership with high schools across the province linked over 1050 companies with over 1500 youth to help grow local workforce talent.
