Munising Township has begun the process of updating the Master Plan for the Township.

A Master Plan illustrates the goals for development in the township, and is the basis for regulating land use and identifying the needs of the citizenry for up to the next 20 years. Citizen input is important to this process and will be incorporated into the Master Plan.
