eCYBERMISSION Lab (August 2, 8:30 a.m.): Connecting STEM through Real Problems and Inquiry
         Limit: 16 attendees

Educators (or adults with interest engaging with students in an informal education setting) are invited to take a dive into AEOP's eCYBERMISSION (www.ecybermission.com).  eCYBERMISSION allows 6th-9th grade student teams to enhance their knowledge of the scientific and engineering design process through real-life application of science, math, and technology.  The eCYBERMISSION competition is electronic which ensures that even our most rural students are able to participate.  Lab participants will work with eCYBERMISSION Ambassadors and Team Advisers to construct the deliverables and strategies for program implementation. (an additional stipend is available to Lab participants)

STEMwise Building Communities Workshop: August 2 12:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. and August 3 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

This interactive event will give you an opportunity to work alongside regional experts representing a wide spectrum of research-based best-practice in classroom instruction to design and refine your student experiences.

A separate registration is required for each workshop participant and we recommend the individual attending complete their own registration so that the strategic planning team can best tailor the workshop to the experiences and preferences of the participants.

Thanks to the support of a Battelle AEOP Strategic Partner grant, participants will be awarded a stipend and travel scholarships are available.
