STEM Educator Leadership Awards 2022

Nominees
At STEM Conference 2022, on Tuesday, October 4th, four educators who demonstrate outstanding leadership in STEM education will be recognized in the following categories:
Outstanding STEM Educator Career Achievement Award (30+ years of service)
Outstanding STEM Educator Career Achievement Award (20-29 years of service)
The Mid-Career STEM Educator Award (10-19 years as an educator)
The Early Career STEM Educator Award (0-9 years as an educator)
PK- 12 STEM Educators (teachers, administrators, and informal educators) may nominate themselves or others based on the following criteria:
Training and Preparation
Documented history of exemplary training and preparation to become a STEM Educator.
Integration of STEM initiatives
Evidence of integrating STEM initiative into the classroom, school, district and/or informal educational settings.
Outreach and Mentorship
Demonstrated outreach to mentor, collaborate, or share expertise with other educators.
Requirements of the Awardees:
Submit a current CV and photograph, (jpg, jpeg, gif) to Debbie Liberi at debbieliberi@gmail.com and place "STEM Awards CV and Photo," in the subject line.
Submit a proposal and plan to be a presenter at STEM Conference 2022.
Register for STEM Conference 2022, by Monday, September 12th, and make all the necessary arrangements to attend with your district, school and or organization.
Please note that awards are granted on the overall balance of the qualifications of the candidates and with the following considerations: discipline, grade level, urban vs. rural, region, and diversity representation.
Nominations for STEM Educator Leadership Awards must be submitted
no later than midnight on Monday, August 1st, 2022.
Notification of awardees will be made to the nominees
no later than September 1st.
