Southwell town plan survey 2025

Welcome to the Southwell Town Plan Survey 2025. We very much hope you will contribute by responding to as many questions as possible.
Our town is largely residential with a varied number of supporting retail and commercial facilities. It has its own distinct heritage and culture and hosts numerous events.
Housing issues are not addressed in this survey. There is a new National Planning Policy and the effects on Southwell are still to be announced, so it is too early to identify what this will mean. The Neighbourhood Plan currently in progress will frame the town’s development, but will be updated as a result of the Government’s announcement.
Any personal information supplied with your response will be stored securely in line with data protection and GDPR regulations and will be used only for the purposes of this questionnaire. It will NOT be used for future communications on different matters. Your information will be used to develop a new Town Plan.
We plan to distribute a summary of the Town Plan later this year. If you would like a full copy of the plan, you will be able to collect a free copy from the Town Council Offices and other locations in the town.
Please complete this questionnaire on-line by or contact the Town Council if you would like a paper copy : tel 01636 816103 or email admin@southwell-tc.gov.uk
