To partially offset the cost of scholarly publication, interested researchers may apply for the STAR Scholars Publication Assistantship. The publication may be in the form of a book or a monograph or a special issue of the journal. This publication assistantship is available only for the projects (both books and journals) approved by the Network.

The cost of publishing books/journals include editing, cover design, formatting, vendor registration, printing hard copies, distribution, and marketing services. The cost also depends on the length and quality of the book, somewhere from $5,000-$10,000 depending on the project.
