This survey explores our connection to day-to-day food and drink within our culture as it relates to the transatlantic trade and trafficking of enslaved people. The transport and production of botanicals made the exotic familiar to Britain and Europe throughout the history of The Rum Story.

Artist & Poet Eileen Pun will use these reflections to write poems, create art and awareness between the peoples of past and future. Please explain any stories, emotions, memories and personal associations you are willing to share. Taking time to reflect can help improve the connection between our culture, history and the world that makes our day-to-day the way it is!
