The ISAWWA Water Efficiency Committee is seeking presenters for the annual Water Loss Seminar on October 10th at NIU Naperville.

All things Water Loss and/or Non-Revenue Water (NRW)! Come hear from our industry subject matter experts on determining the amount of non-revenue water (NRW), understanding the different components of NRW, and strategic ways to address NRW. Are you considering developing a NRW reduction plan? Case studies will be presented indicating how utilities have successfully navigated their path to a reduced Non-Revenue Water volume. Lessons learned will be discussed from utilities that implemented NRW reduction measures associated with unbilled authorized water use, apparent losses, or real losses. What have been the most successful strategies in reducing NRW? If attendees choose to stay for the afternoon, the Water Loss Seminar also includes water audit training based on the AWWA M36 Manual.

The planning committee is seeking topics pertaining to the following:

Case Studies, Non-Revenue Water Management, NRW Assessment and Reduction Plan Design, Leak Detection District Metered Areas, Network Zoning and District Metered Areas, Customer Metering, Pressure Management, AMI implementation, Billing audits and practice improvements, Regulatory aspects, any new technologies assisting in NRW monitoring and/or addressing NRW, and other NRW-related topics.

Industry professionals are encouraged to submit an abstract (500 words or less) electronically by August 22nd, to the ISAWWA Water Efficiency Committee. To complete the abstract, submit using this form.

We look forward to hearing from you!
