The RCMP is currently developing its 2026–2027 Community Priorities Plan. As part of this process, Council has been asked to consult with residents to identify up to three key safety priorities for the coming year.
While recent reports show overall decreases in several categories of crime, we know statistics do not always tell the full story. Rural concerns such as break-ins, theft of vehicles and equipment, traffic safety on rural roads, and suspicious activity continue to affect residents in different ways.
We encourage all Saddle Hills County residents, business owners, and agricultural operators to complete the Community Survey. The results will guide discussions between Council and the RCMP Detachment Commander and help ensure local priorities reflect the real concerns of our community.
The community plays an important role in shaping local policing priorities.
The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete and will remain open until March 31st, 2026.
Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective and help keep our community safe.
