FSC US will be holding two meetings to provide information to certificate holders who are incorporating the FSC US National Risk Assessment into their due diligence systems. These meetings will consist of a presentation (similar to those offered during the recent webinars), an extended question and answer period, and an opportunity for small-group discussion. The intended audience is FSC CoC certificate holders with Controlled Wood in scope and those who help these certificate holders with conformance, but others are welcome.
The meetings will be held on Wednesday, August 7 in Atlanta, GA (Anne Cramer room at the Loudermilk Conference Center - 40 Courtland Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30303), and Tuesday, August 13 in Portland, OR (Billy Frank, Jr. Conference Center at the Ecotrust Natural Capital Center - 721 NW 9th Ave #200, Portland, OR 97209). Both meetings will be from 1pm-5pm local time.
Please note that these meetings are not required (they are not the regional meetings referenced in the National Risk Assessment). Rather, they are informational meetings to provide an opportunity for certificate holders to learn more and ask questions about incorporating the FSC US National Risk Assessment into their due diligence system.
