* 3. Each 1st year will do a maximum of 10 subjects, or a minimum of 8, for the Junior Cert exam. We want your views on the total number of subjects you think they should do. To do that, we will ask you a few questions which will help you get to the total number of subjects and which subjects you think should be taken for exam purposes.

From the full list below tick which subjects you think should be available for all first years (not just your child) as exam subjects in 2018.

* 4. We need your view on Science. Up to now, Science was an option subject from 2nd year on. Do you think that practically everyone should do Science for the Junior Cert from 1st year?

* 5. We need your view on Religion. Up to now, Religion was an exam subject for practically everyone. Do you think that practically everyone should do Religion for the Junior Cert from 1st year as an exam subject?

* 6. We need your view on History. History has always been done by practically all students to exam level in Junior Cert. We do not have it as a Leaving Cert subject. Do you think that History should remain as an exam subject for Junior Cert. for practically everyone in 1st year?

* 7. To help you work out the exam subjects you think all 1st years should do in September 2018 please tick those subjects you think should be exam subjects for all 1st years starting in 2018; remember you must tick Irish, English and Maths.
