Introduction

Connect with food and gardening in your community! The Department of Parks and Recreation and the Office of the State Superintendent of Education are partnering to better connect residents to shared growing spaces. We are currently recruiting site coordinators who need help maintaining garden spaces in exchange for sharing the garden harvest:
Become a site coordinator and provide access for community members to garden, grow, or maintain one of these types of spaces:
- A school garden
- A community garden plot due to a mobility issues
-A home yard

Site coordinator application deadline is March 16, 2020.

- In-person attendance at a event in April to connect with prospective gardeners.
