New Midway Point Playspace

We’re planning a new playspace in Midway Point, between Hoffman Street and First Avenue, just north of the existing multi-use courts. The idea is to create a welcoming spot where local kids and families can play, explore and enjoy time together close to home.

A concept plan has been prepared by Playstreet, informed by previous planning and the findings of Council’s 2025 Play Space Audit and Plan.

We’re keen to hear what you like about the plan, whether the proposed features feel right for the community, and if there are any important considerations we should be aware of.

Your feedback will help Council understand how the concept is received by the community as the project moves forward.
1.Do you live in, or regularly visit, Midway Point?(Required.)
2.Overall, what do you think of the proposed playspace concept?(Required.)
3.What do you like about the proposed concept?(Required.)
4.What do you think of the play equipment shown in the concept plan?(Required.)
5.Do you think the proposed playspace would meet the needs of local children and families?(Required.)
6.Is there anything you feel is missing from the concept, or any important considerations you think Council should be aware of?

The concept has been informed by Council’s 2025 Play Space Audit and Plan which helps guide the planning and design for playspaces across the municipality. As this is a local neighbourhood playspace, public toilets aren’t included in the concept.
7.Is there anything else you’d like to share about the proposed playspace?
8.Would you like to receive updates about the Primrose Sands playspace project?(Required.)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Your feedback will help Council understand what’s working well and whether there are any important considerations to keep in mind as the project moves forward.
