Staging: 7:00 AM at Judicial Center (on Osborn Road and Longmore Road) Route begins on Osborn Road at the Employee Parking lot, proceeding West on Osborn to Longmore Road. Then south on Longmore Road ending at the dirt parking lot on McDowell Road and Longmore Road.

Parade Schedule
• 7:00 AM – Parade check-in, staging, and line-up at the Judicial Center
• 8:30 AM – Registration check-in cut-off
• 9:00 AM – Parade begins promptly

Applications must be submitted by Friday, October 16, 2026 at 5:00 PM or until full.

Important Notes
  • Parade participants must remain in constant forward motion along the parade route.
  • Equestrian entries: An adult must accompany riders under 18 years of age, and a pooper scooper must follow.
  • Judging category winners will be announced on the same day at the Veterans Day Program at 1880 N. Longmore Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85256.

Parade Entry Example: Veterans Service Office Float

The Veterans Services Office proudly presents this parade entry in honor of the men and women who have served in the United States Armed Forces. Today, we recognize Community veterans, active-duty service members, reservists, National Guard members, and military families whose dedication and sacrifice have helped protect our nation and preserve our freedoms.

This entry honors the generations of veterans who answered the call to serve with courage, honor, and commitment. Their service reflects a legacy of strength, resilience, and patriotism that continues to inspire our community.

The Veterans Services Office remains committed to supporting veterans and their families through advocacy, resources, and programs that promote their well-being and success.

14. Waiver, Release of Liability and Medical Authorization

I realize that participation in the above-referenced event could involve some risk of personal injury or personal property damage. Despite precautions, accidents and injuries may occur. By signing this release form, I assume all risks associated with participation.

I authorize the SPRMIC, its Departments and its employees to obtain emergency medical care for me if necessary and/or required. I agree that I may be solely responsible for any costs associated with such medical care.

I agree to release and hold harmless the SRPMIC, its Departments and its employees from any cause of action, claims, or demands now and in the future which arise from my participation in the above-referenced activity. I will not hold the SRPMIC liable for any personal injury or any personal property damage which may occur on the premises before, during or after the event. This release includes claims for the negligence of the Released Parties.

Photo and Media Release

I hereby consent and authorize the SRPMIC and its Departments to use photographs taken of me or my minor child, as well as my (or my minor child’s) likeness, image, voice, and name (hereinafter “photos”), for the purposes of Community promotional materials, publications, websites, social media, and any other forms of media or communication. The purposes of these photos are for use by the Community to promote activities, events, and initiatives of the Community. The Community may use, reproduce, distribute, and display the photos in whole or in part, and may alter, modify, or combine them with other materials for the purposes stated above. I, further release the Community and its agents, officials, officers or representatives, from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the use of the photos, including any claims for defamation, invasion of privacy, or infringement of rights. This Photo Consent Agreement (“Agreement”) applies in perpetuity from the date of execution of this Agreement.
