Athlete of the Week nominees:
Will Bridges, Eastside swimming
Bridges helped lead the Eagles to their 12th-straight state championship this weekend, setting school records in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke in the process. He was also a part of Eastside's school and state record 400 freestyle.
Ansley Brinkman, Riverside swimming
Brinkman earned first-place medals and individual state titles in the 50 and 100 freestyle races, helping lead the Lady Warriors to their first swimming team state championship in a decade.
Isaiah Robinson, Byrnes football
Robinson brought in two receptions for 69 yards and a TD in Byrnes' 42-21 win over Mauldin. It was Robinson's second straight week with a receiving touchdown.
