ALL Y'ALL REALLY FROM ALABAMA: EXAMINING THE POETRY OF ASHLEY M. JONES IN THE 21ST CENTURY CLASSROOM

We appreciate your interest in AHA's SUPER Teacher Program. Please complete this application to be considered for participation in our July 28, 2022 workshop, an examination of the poetry of Ashley M. Jones, Poet Laureate for the State of Alabama.
  
Primary course instructors are Dr. Zanice Bond, Associate Professor of English (Tuskegee University); Dr. Jacqueline Allen Trimble, Professor of English (Alabama State University); Dr. Caroline Gebhard, Professor of English (retired, Tuskegee University); and Jeanie Thompson (Executive Director, Alabama Writers' Forum). 
  
This one-day workshop will be held on Friday, July 28, 2022 (8:30am - 3:30pm) at the Alabama Department of Archives & History, 624 Washington Avenue, Montgomery, AL 36104. Participants will receive a $75 stipend, lunch and 5 CEU credits, plus copies of THE LANGUAGE OF OBJECTS: A CREATIVE WRITING HANDBOOK (Alabama Writers Forum, 2022) and books of poetry by Ashley M. Jones.
