Question Title

* 1. Does a school-aged child who currently lives with you attend a DPSCD or charter school inside the city limits of Detroit?

Question Title

* 2. The Community Education Commission (CEC) runs the GOAL Line bus service, provides GOAL Line after-school programming at Northwest Activities Center, and publishes the Detroit Parents' Guide to Schools. The CEC is also responsible for implementing a new School Rating System for Detroit (SRSD). Which of these activities have you heard about before today?

Question Title

* 3. Michigan state law says that beginning in October 2019, Detroit schools will receive a grade ranging from A (the best score) to F (the lowest score) for their students' performance. The grade will include both academic (tests) and non-academic (attendance, etc.) measures. What do you think about this idea?

Question Title

* 4. The new school rating system requires the CEC to measure whether students are on grade level (proficiency) and if students are making progress over last year's test scores (growth). The rating also requires the CEC to measure student attendance and school re-enrollment rates, along with parent and student satisfaction (non-academic). What else (if anything) should we include in the rating?

Question Title

* 5. Do you think a new School Rating System for Detroit (SRSD) can provide you more information than you currently have about public schools in Detroit?
