1. Analyze how the transition to parenthood can shape the mind and brain during pregnancy and postpartum, highlighting this time as a unique period of adult and child development.
2. Evaluate the intersection of cognition, emotion regulation, and mentalization in parents.
3. Assess opportunities for the delivery of early interventions, beginning in pregnancy, that can support parents, their developing child, and the broader family system.
