The Association for Recorded Sound Collections invites first-time conference attendees and conference veterans to participate in the Conference Mentoring Program during the ARSC Conference in Portland, Oregon, May 8-11, 2019.

The program pools ARSC newcomers and long-time members based on their shared interests. Mentors provide mentees with an orientation to the conference, the association, and its participants in informal meetings over the course of the conference. Only ARSC veterans who are committed to the mentoring program should volunteer.

Mentors and mentees must be able to attend the newcomer orientation and welcoming gathering on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, 6:00-7:00 pm at the conference hotel. Please pick up your name badge and directions at the ARSC Registration Desk. The conference opening reception will begin at 7:00 pm, immediately following the newcomer orientation.

Please complete the form below by May 1, 2019 to register as a Mentor or Mentee.

For more information on the Mentoring Program see the ARSC Conference web page. Questions may be directed to program coordinators David Giovannoni (arsc@dgio.net) and Yuri Shimoda (yurishimoda@gmail.com).
