This workshop aims to provide practical information on domestic violence in queer relationships and how to support qeer survivors in a way that affirms their gender, sexuality, and lived experience. Queer and non-queer allies alike are invited to participate!

We'll be discussing:
  • how and why domestic violence happens
  • the unique ways in which queer experiences, identities, and community shape domestic violence
  • appropriate language and trauma-informed communication
  • queer-friendly resources for survivors
This workshop is facilitated by an openly queer survivor and advocate. For people of all genders aged 16 and older.
