Allied Health Professional Outstanding Achievement Award

The purpose of this award is to recognize an Allied Health Professional member of IIRTA who has made significant contributions to intestinal rehabilitation and/or intestinal transplant through years of service to the field and/or IIRTA. One award will be given every two years at the time of the Scientific Congress.

The awardee will be honored with $1500 and free registration to the 2025 Congress on September 10-13, in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Criteria:
· The candidate must be an Allied Health Professional (e.g. nurse, coordinator, advanced practice nurse, psychologist, social worker, pharmacist, dietitian, occupational or physical therapist, transplant administrator) who is considered an expert in his/her field and has contributed significantly to the field of intestinal rehabilitation or intestinal transplantation and/or to IIRTA throughout their career.
· The nominee’s service to IIRTA will be taken into consideration during the review process.
· The nominee and nominator must be active members of IIRTA at the time the nomination is submitted.
· The nominee must accept the award at the Business meeting of the CIRTA 2025 Congress being help on September 10-13, 2025 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
