Community Garden

Do you like the outdoors and gardening? Do you have any expertise on how to garden that you can share with others? Do you just want to try your hand at gardening for the first time? Then a community garden would be the place to be! The Environmental Advisory Council is looking for input from residents about the prospect of developing a community garden in Doylestown Township. A community garden would be a collective area that residents could rent individual plots for growing seasons. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, benefits to residents from having a community garden would include growing fruits and vegetables for the household, meeting and creating social connections with fellow residents, physical activity of gardening itself and the opportunity to beautify an open area in the Township. Please take a moment to complete this survey and help the Environmental Advisory Council decide if this is the right project for Doylestown Township.
