Are you thinking of employing staff?

Creative Northland want to help you make your business the best it can be and make sure you
are Employee Ready for your new creative staff member. We want to develop a service to support
you and we need your help to do this! We want to offer the best support we can to you as a
creative business in Northland.

Taking on staff is a big step and can be quite daunting. Creative Northland wants to walk beside
you and help you through the employment process. We are also talking with potential partners that
would help with training and funding which would offset the initial wages of your new creative
worker.
So in summary, Creative Northland want to develop a programme to work with you as an employer
and:
mentor you to ensure you are “employer ready”
help with a grant to help you pay the wages through those first critical weeks
walk alongside you as you recruit and employ staff into your creative business
