Preliminary Interview Criteria

Dear participant,

Thank you very much for your interest in my study about lucid dreams and their healing and transformative effects on depression.

There is a need for more scientific research and data collected on this intriguing topic, and your participation will make an important contribution in advancing both lucid dream and mental health research.

It will take approximately 5 - 10 minutes to complete the survey. The participation is voluntary and you are free to withdraw at any time. All data will be kept strictly confidential and will be used solely for scientific purposes. Please answer all questions openly and honestly. Please be aware that completion of the survey will indicate your willingness to possibly participate further in the study, which may require a 60 – 90 minute (online or in-person) recorded interview.

Definition: In a lucid dream, one is aware that one is dreaming during the dream. Thus it is possible to wake up deliberately, or to inflence the action of the dream actively, or to observe the course of the dream passively.
