In light of new rule changes this year, DWA and the WA EA Dressage Stewards have put together a list of quiz questions to test your knowledge!

Question Title

* 1. A gear check is compulsory for each dressage test entered. Failure to have a gear check will entail elimination (Refer Rule 4.4)

* 2. Riders and/or handlers of colts/stallions must be over the age of 18 years. Special permission may be granted by the EA National Dressage Committee for a rider/handler to be under the age of 18 years, and in this instance, the rider/handler must be supervised by an adult/parent/guardian whilst at the event (Refer 4.8.4.2 and Stallion Safe Practices Document)

* 3. At the first halt and final halt, competitors must take the reins in one hand to Salute. Failure to salute will entail a minus 2 penalty points from each Judge (Refer Rule 3.7)

* 4. Any form of protective skin covering on the horse such as plaster, tape, belly band covering or towel, whether the skin is broken or not, is strictly forbidden at an event when the horse Is under saddle during training, warm-up, and competition, and will entail elimination (Refer Rule 5.17)
