Deadline: March 12, 2016

Organic Seed Alliance (OSA) is a nonprofit organization that advances the ethical development and stewardship of seed. Through research, education, and advocacy programs, we work with farmers and other seed professionals to build regional, farmer-centric organic seed systems. We are conducting this survey in partnership with the Triple Divide Organic Seeds Cooperative, the first seed cooperative in the state to focus on regionally adapting plant varieties to Montana and other northern latitudes.

The purpose of this survey is to better assess the current state of specialty crop seed needs for organic vegetable growers in Montana. The results will guide OSA’s work with farmers, researchers, seed companies, and other stakeholders to increase the availability of regionally adapted organic vegetable varieties in Montana.

Obtaining feedback from Montana growers is vital to this project. Please take ten minutes to complete the survey. Your responses are voluntary and will be kept confidential. They will be analyzed with other responses collectively to guide a three-year specialty crop seed project funded by a Montana Specialty Crop Block Grant.

It is important that you complete all of the questions. If you have any questions, please contact Kristina (Kiki) Hubbard at kristina@seedalliance.org or by phone at (406) 544-8946.

The survey will close on March 12, 2016. Thank you for your time and commitment to building a regional seed system in Montana.
