SPI user survey: Discovery Play
Thank you for participating in our survey! Your feedback is important.
SPI (Where Science and Play Intersect) is a non-profit organization which facilitates informal learning through play. It's signature Discovery Play program takes place at what is commonly known as "SPI Spot" at Wright Center on Main Street in Mount Vernon. The program aims to be an affordable, regionally accessible option with convenient hours for area families. SPI seeks to nurture family bonds and to encourage children's natural curiosity through the use of exhibits, tools, toys, props and prompts from supportive staff.
We use STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) as a lens for developing programming. However, we focus efforts primarily on the development of skills and mindsets that will serve children in everyday life, in school, and in ANY future career path.
This survey is intended specifically to gather user input related to the Discovery Play program (what you do when you come with your family to SPI Spot). We appreciate the feedback of adult participants in the general public who have engaged here with children/others in their care!
Surveys help us improve in our efforts, note our greatest strengths, justify our value to the community, and plan for the future.
As a thank you for your time and thoughtful responses, we are raffling several prizes to those who've completed the survey! Your answers will not be tied back to your raffle entry and will remain completely anonymous. You could win one of several family passes to SPI or a Happy Bean or Paragraphs bookstore gift card(courtesy of individual SPI board members).
