We invite your comments in this 15 minute survey on Charter of Rights for Victims of Crime conducted by the ACT Government. Your participation is voluntary and anonymous.

This survey is for agencies and service providers working with victims of crime. If you are a community member or someone who has an experience of crime and want to have your say please navigate to this survey

What is the Charter of Rights for Victims of Crime?

The ACT Government  Charter of Rights for Victims of Crime will outline:

- rights for victims of crime including to information, support and participation in the justice system
- the obligations of justice agencies when dealing with people who have experienced crime, and
- a complaints resolution process where victims complains that a justice agency has not acted in accordance with the Charter .
 
What will happen to this information?

Survey responses will be used to inform advice to the Government about the Charter of Rights for Victims of Crime.

You can choose to identify yourself/your agency/service and providing contact details. This is not required to complete the survey.

Every effort will be made to ensure that the identity of the agency or individual completing the survey is protected. Information will be only disclosed with your permission, except as required by law (for example a Freedom of Information request).
